 Marketplace FAQs

  • We welcome applications from small businesses, independent makers, artists, crafters, vintage curators, handmade artisans, boutique brands, and local entrepreneurs. We also accept packaged food vendors (such as baked goods, candies, jams, sauces, and shelf-stable products), depending on the event and venue regulations. Please note: all food vendors must use electric equipment only — open flames, propane, or gas-powered cooking devices are not permitted.

  • All bkONE pop-up markets are held at Industry City in Brooklyn, NY — a vibrant destination known for its creative community, shopping, dining, and events. Market locations may vary per event and can take place in Industry City’s outdoor courtyards, indoor event spaces, inside the Tom Kane Theater, or directly outside the Tom Kane Theater. Exact locations, set-up details, and vendor load-in instructions will be provided in each event’s application form and acceptance email. We recommend reviewing the application for the most up-to-date information on each specific market.

  • Each marketplace event has its own Google Form application. Simply click on the event you’re interested in to submit your vendor application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis to curate a diverse and complementary group of businesses.

  • There is no fee to submit your vendor application. You only pay if accepted and confirmed for the market. Vendor fees vary depending on the size and type of event — mini markets (15 vendors or fewer) typically have lower fees, while larger markets (40+ vendors) may have higher fees based on location, duration, and amenities included. Full pricing, inclusions, and payment deadlines are provided in each event's listing and acceptance email.

  • Bring your merchandise, displays, signage, payment processing system (such as Square or contactless payment), business cards, and any extra table coverings or decor to make your booth inviting and visually appealing. Many of our markets have specific themes, so incorporating themed decor into your setup is highly encouraged and helps create a fun, cohesive shopping experience. You may also want to bring extension cords or additional lighting depending on your display needs. If your setup requires electricity, please indicate this clearly on your application. Access to power is not guaranteed and must be planned in advance to be accommodated in the floorplan.

  • Yes! bkONE actively promotes each marketplace and paired theater performance through our website, email list, social media platforms, Industry City’s event listings, and community partnerships to help drive shopper traffic. We also provide vendors with digital graphics and promotional materials to share on their own social media and email lists, making it easy to spread the word and maximize visibility.

  • Industry City has designated load-in and load-out zones with convenient access and ramps for easy unloading. Vendors are responsible for transporting their items; we do not provide dollies or carts, so please plan accordingly. We typically have staff on-site who can watch your items briefly as you load or unload your vehicle; however, staff may be assisting multiple vendors at once and are not responsible for vendor belongings. We strongly recommend bringing an extra set of hands to help with setup and breakdown.

  • For events that run multiple days, limited overnight storage may be available. In most cases, vendors will still be required to fully break down and store their items in designated areas after each day. Storage availability is not guaranteed and must be requested when submitting your application in order to confirm availability and reserve space. Please note: bkONE Productions is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left in storage areas. Vendors are responsible for securing their belongings.

  • Please review the cancellation and refund policy listed for each specific event prior to applying. Due to limited space and high demand, vendor fees are typically non-refundable once accepted.

  • Yes! Vendors may apply to as many bkONE pop-up markets as they wish. Each market has a separate application form. Applying early is recommended to secure your spot.
