brooklyn Shakespeare Festival 2016 / by Anthony Marino

In cooperation with Senator Marty Golden's office and The NYC Parks Department, brooklynONE productions is so very happy to announce its 4th Annual Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival!

We are incredibly excited to be producing an adaptation of Shakespeare's Julius Caesar. Which seems appropriately topical for todays political climate and will be a fantastic show for people well versed with Shakespeare and those just learning to enjoy his works!

Our production will take place August 20, 2016 at the ever beautiful Owls Head Park Overlook!

AUDITIONS WILL BE ANNOUNCED SOON and ALL ROLES ARE OPEN and subject to creative and diverse casting!!

Want to attend the event, and keep update on all things we will be announcing, including musical performances and other interactive family events during the day?

Since 2013 brooklynONE productions has offered free performances of William Shakespeare plays in gorgeous Owls Head Park. Starting with a selection of his most famous scenes in our inaugural year, then producing Romeo and Juliet and last years MidSummer Nights Dream. The festival is attended by hundreds of people from the Bay Ridge Area and other Brooklyn locations.  There is no other outdoor festival produced in Brooklyn quite like the Brooklyn Shakespeare Festival, and we look forward to another epic year!
